Non Scientific Comparison of Nine Lenses Used on the Olympus E-M1 Camera
This gallery contains 54 photos as of 8/6/15.The gallery was started with a portion of the photos that will eventually be posted (100 or so). Photos using multiple focal lengths and/or apatures were taken with each lens. They will be added. Each photo contains a caption (below photo) with basic shooting information.
All photos in this gallery were taken August 4, 2015 from the New Jersey side of the Hudson river. The temperature was about 90F and it was hazy. All of the pictures were taken with the Olympus E-M1 camera hand held with the in camera stabilization turned on. All images were RAW captures converted using Adobe Bridge and processed using Photoshop. Some sharpening and minimum exposure and saturation adjustments were performed. The files were then converted to JPGs and uploaded to this site. In some cases the images were slightly cropped to improve the composition of the picture. This comparison is in no way scientific. I just wanted to see how the results with these lenses compared when shooting typical outing photos and processed as I would process record images. Less than one minute of post production was spent on each photo.
As you can see there are a large number of photos taken with the Olympus 75mm lens. I am seriously considering purchasing this lens in the near future. Many more photos on the way. I just noticed a number of errors made in the captions (lens manufacturer in particular). I will correct these errors shortly.
